Welcome, Our new name, Eun Mara is Gaelic for Sea Bird, my wife and I share a deep love for the sea and the call of the gull has often proved as great a temptation for us as for Legolas in the Trilogy of the Rings. We chose Gaelic because, well first off have you ever heard anything as beautiful? Secondly we both have lots of Celtic ancestry we are proud of. You will find as you browse through these pages that more than the name has changed, there are little changes on every page and some not so little. |

We are a small home based business with the goal of making it affordable for the average working man to have a knife built just the way he wants it. I am working on learning how to make blades myself but for now almost all the blades I use are made by my friend Gene Martin of www.customknife.com I usually use stabilized wood so the handles are less prone to shrinking and warping than traditional hardwoods. I also often use mosaic pins to add that little bit of elegance that takes what would otherwise be a simple working blade to a higher level of beauty without compromising it's function.
