I have been making knives since 95 when I started with a blade by the legendary Bob Engnath. Unlike most knifemakers in the US I am not also a bladesmith. I follow the European tradition of having a bladesmith and a knifemaker. However I am learning how to make my own blades and will hopefully have some available by summer.
My wife Juliana handles the kitchen knife side of EunMara Custom. The kitchen knives start at $35 for a paring knife with exotic wood handles and German silver pins. Please note, these are not your typical "handmade" kitchen knives where the edges are square and ungraceful. She works each knife by hand with files and a dremel tool till it fits comfortably in the hand. They have greaceful rounded handles with a true hand polished finish (we don't even have a buffer!).
